Serie A could follow Ligue 1 by cancelling current season: Italy’s sports minister

Italy’s Sports Minister Vincenzo Spadafora stated on Wednesday the nation’s top-flight Serie A soccer championship seems unlikely to renew this season due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has introduced that lockdown measures might be eased from May 4, with coaching for sports groups presumably allowed from May 18.
