‘Project Isaac’ By IITGN To Emulate Sir Isaac Newton During COVID-19 Break

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) has launched ‘Project Isaac’ to interact its college students in inventive initiatives to boost their important abilities whereas they’re confined to their rooms or houses due to coronavirus outbreak.

The mission is impressed by Sir Isaac Newton, who 350 years in the past was equally despatched dwelling by Trinity College, Cambridge, due to the Great Plague of London in 1665.

Prof Sudhir Ok Jain, Director, IITGN mentioned, “We are proud that more than 40 percent of our student body jumped into these voluntary projects right out of the gate and expect the proportion will continue to grow. We want to emerge from this difficult period stronger and better both as individuals and as a community.”

Under Project Isaac, the Institute has launched a number of contests with each day prizes and rewards for IITGN college students round management, coding, inventive expression and writing. 

The Project Isaac Showcase will culminate in a large expertise contest as soon as college students return to campus to showcase their inventive work-products developed throughout this era.
