Know About RBI Research Internship




A complete of 20 interns are chosen yearly.

New Delhi:

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) provides analysis internship, twice a 12 months principally, to those that want to transfer on to pursue Ph.D in Economics, Banking, Finance or associated fields, or to positions in authorities analysis establishments, or monetary establishments that require a quantitative and analytic orientation. The internship is of six month length and might be primarily based at Mumbai.

A complete of 20 interns are chosen yearly. The RBI internship scheme is open to overseas candidates, as properly.

The internship carries a stipend of Rs 45000 per thirty days.

The internship is introduced in 4 departments of RBI: Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR), Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM), Strategic Research Unit (SRU), and International Department (ID).

The internship is introduced twice a 12 months and commences from January 1 and July 1. Applications for internship commencing in January might be accepted throughout July-November of the earlier 12 months and for internship commencing in July might be accepted throughout January- May.

The final internship was introduced in October, 2019.

Selected intern should help and collaborate with RBI researchers on initiatives to offer coverage inputs and papers focused for publication at high quality economics and finance journals. They have to help in compiling correct and well timed knowledge and help with the related analytical, statistical and econometric instruments essential to execute the analysis initiatives.
