Gunmen attack Gurdwara in Afganistan: Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and other Bollywood stars condemn the attack, offer prayers for victims – Times of India

Actresses Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhasker had been amongst the first Bollywood stars to take to social media and condemn the attack on a Sikh gurdwara in Afganistan.

According to stories, closely armed gunmen and suicide bombers blasted their method into the place of worship, killing a minimum of 25 worshippers and wounding many others, in what is taken into account as one of the deadliest assaults on the group.

Taking to Twitter, Sonam and Swara condemned the incident and supplied prayers for the victims and households of the deceased.

“So heartbreaking and inhumane. Which god asks you to kill,” Sonam questioned as she shared a information report.

Swara, on the other hand, mentioned “Prayers for the victims and families of the deceased in #Kabul #gurudwaraattack and curses and hell awaits the monsters who perpetrated this attack. Only the most toxic evil people prey upon minorities in their temple! #Shame #isisterror These terrorists are not human!”

Actress Raveena Tandon later joined in and supplied her condolences to households of victims.

The ISIS terrorist group, which has focused Sikhs earlier than in Afghanistan, claimed duty for the newest attack. The group reportedly issued a press release confirming that its members carried out the attack.

Photos from the blast scene confirmed safety forces carrying wounded folks away on stretchers. Some Afghan media shops shared movies of the members of the family of victims ready exterior a metropolis hospital in tears.

In July 2018, ISIS terrorists bombed a gathering of Sikhs in the metropolis of Jalalabad, killing 19 folks and injuring 20.
