Facebook to Shut Down MSQRD AR Face-Filtering App

Facebook has introduced to shut down its Augmented Reality (AR) face-filtering app referred to as MSQRD.

On April 13, Facebook will take away the app from each the Android and iOS app shops.

Facebook acquired MSQRD in 2016 and the AR app performed a key function in enhancing the corporate’s portfolio of AR picture and video instruments like ‘Spark AR’ that lets customers create customized face filters for Facebook and Instagram.
