Centre issues SOPs for religious places before opening on June 8: Masks mandatory, no prasad

New Delhi: As the phase-I of Unlock India comes into impact on Monday, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued the usual working process (SOP) to comprise the unfold of Covid-19 on the religious places.

Even although the federal government has allowed the religious places to open up, there might be stringent guidelines for worship.

# Touching of statues/idols / holy books and so on. to not be allowed. Large gatherings/congregation proceed to stay prohibited.
# As far as possible recorded devotional music/songs could also be performed and choir or singing teams shouldn’t be allowed.
# No bodily choices like Prasad/distribution or sprinkling of holy water, and so on.to be allowed contained in the religious places.
